Dentist

Schubbs Dental Clinics has been practising in Lagos since 1988. Three clinics, in Apapa, Ikeja and Ikoyi, 18 dental units between them. We were built on a single position: no one in Lagos should have to leave the country for dental treatment. We are hiring a dentist to join the clinical team and carry a full general caseload.

You will examine and diagnose patients, plan treatment, and deliver general dental care: check-ups, scaling and polishing, fillings, crowns, root canal therapy and extractions. You will keep accurate records and hold to our infection control and patient safety standards. Where a case calls for a specialist, you refer it. You will work alongside the dental surgery assistants and the front desk team, and you are expected to explain every treatment to the patient in plain language before it begins.

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• A valid licence to practise dentistry in Nigeria.
• Completed NYSC, with a valid Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional, responsible and compassionate approach to patient care.
• The ability to work with other healthcare professionals.

Dentists who have recently completed NYSC are welcome to apply. Previous clinical experience is an advantage, not a requirement.
