Dr. Taofeek Akinniyi

I am a young oral and maxillofacial surgeon with the requisite skills to manage both simple and complex oral and maxillofacial surgical conditions.

I am a recipient of various awards, including the Emmanuel Adekeye Prize for the Best Dissertation in the final Part 2 Fellowship Examination of the West African College of Surgeons (WACS), Faculty of Dental Surgery.

I am focused, diligent, and hardworking. My goal is to equip myself with relevant knowledge, clinical expertise, and research skills to make a meaningful impact on the lives of my patients.

I earned my first degree at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University and completed my one-year housemanship at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, Kano. Following my NYSC at the State Specialist Hospital, Akure, I commenced my residency training at Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospitals' Complex and completed it in record time.

I also pursued an AO fellowship at Charité Universitätsmedizin, Berlin. Beyond medicine, I hold a Master’s in Business Administration from the Quantic University of Business and Technology, Washington, USA.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling, exploring new things, and playing football on Saturdays.
