The Schubbs Way TM

Our unwavering commitment to providing top-tier care to our patients has propelled us to invest in specialist medical training, technological innovation, and vertical integration, all aimed at ensuring the utmost level of service delivery.

This blueprint shapes our approach to business practices and partnerships alike.

Schubbs Dental Clinics has been practising in Lagos since 1988. Three clinics, in Apapa, Ikeja and Ikoyi, 18 dental units between them. We offer the full range of orthodontic treatment: fixed braces, lingual braces, clear aligners and habit breakers. We are hiring an orthodontist to run consultations, plan cases and carry them through to retention.

You will consult, examine and diagnose, then build the treatment plan and see it through, whether the case runs on fixed appliances, aligners or another corrective approach. You will review progress at each visit and adjust when a case moves differently to how it was projected. Retention and post-treatment follow-up are part of the case, not the end of it. You will explain the treatment, the oral hygiene it demands and the aftercare to every patient, keep records current as you go, and hold to our infection control and patient safety standards. Where a case needs a restorative dentist, an oral surgeon or another colleague, you work with them directly.

  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or an equivalent dental qualification from a recognized institution.
  • A postgraduate qualification in Orthodontics from a recognized institution.
  • Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • Completed NYSC, with a valid Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate.
  • Working knowledge of Invisalign and clear aligner treatment.
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic and treatment-planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A professional, patient-focused and compassionate approach to care.

Experience planning and managing Invisalign cases is an advantage.
